The Volcano and the Forgemaster
Update 4 (Aug 30, 2026) added the Volcano alongside the new Paradise Point island. The Forgemaster works inside and handles forging (crafting). Recipes and required materials have changed between updates, so open the Forgemaster's menu before you farm and only chase what the current recipe list asks for.
Forgemaster recipes (checked Oct 20, 2026)
The developers posted three recipes in the official Discord FAQ on Sep 18, 2026. The ingredient lists below follow that post as reproduced by the Dig & Clean community wiki, and the Pegasus list matches the Forgemaster's Update 5 riddle (unhatched egg, winged messenger, shard of nothing, stone of every colour, god's walking stick). Blackhole and Forge (New) have one secondary source so far, so check the in-game list first.

- Order matters: forge Pegasus first, because Forge (New) consumes the forged Pegasus.
- Exact items only: the FAQ warns, “Do not add things to the new recipe, it will soft lock you until you craft it. You will lose those items, and not get them back.”
- Don't sell ingredients: keep Anomaly, Singularity, Genesis and Primordial finds that appear above until the recipe is done.

Which island should you farm?
- Home Beach — cleaning and museum base; you return here between trips.
- Sphinx Sands — the classic Omega hunting ground.
- Lava Lagoon — Paradox hunting once your Update 3 gear tiers are bought.
- Paradise Point — later shovel upgrades and Singularity progression.
- Frozen Shores — trade fresh digs to the Yeti for Totems (luck, range, cleaning, polishing).
- Tombstone Tides — 64x island luck. Buy Necropolis gear at the tombstone house.
- Ribcage Reef — newest permanent island, with 15 gear tiers topped by the Abyssal Detector.
- Halloween Event island — the only place that drops Candy Corn. See the Halloween Event guide.
How detecting works on every island
- Sweep with your detector and follow the strongest beam to a buried spot — the beam colour hints at rarity.
- Dig the spot fully with your shovel.
- Spray the find clean to reveal rarity, condition, and value.
- Sell or display, then move to the next signal. Upgrade gear before paying for the next island.
