The core loop in one minute
Dig & Clean is a treasure-hunting simulation. You detect a buried spot, dig it up with a shovel, spray the dirt off to reveal what it is, then sell the find for Gold or display it in your museum. You spend Gold on better shovels, detectors, and spray bottles — then hunt for rarer treasure. The loop is continuous.
Your first 15 minutes
- Equip your detector and follow the signal to a buried spot.
- Switch to your shovel and dig the spot fully.
- Switch to your spray bottle and clean the find to reveal it.
- Sell the find at the shop for Gold (or keep rare ones for your museum).
- Buy the next shovel tier the moment you can afford it.
Free boosts to grab in your first session
- Redeem the working codes once the tutorial is done: UPDATE2 (5 Instant Cleans) and UPDATE4 (+5 Levels) right away. Save the luck codes (SECRET10, UPDATE3, UPDATE1) for a focused dig.
- Open the Free Luck menu (added in Update 3). It is a permanent luck source.
- Check your daily quests. Some reward big timed luck boosts.
What to buy first
Shovel first (dig power), then detector (luck and range), then spray bottle (cleaning speed). Once you leave Home Beach, flip it: buy the detector first at each new island. See the gear tier list by island for the full path.
What is new right now
Update 8 (Sep 27) is a limited Halloween Event that runs through October. Reach level 25 to visit its island. Levels come from digging, and the UPDATE4 code gives +5.
Early mistakes to avoid
- Upgrading your spray bottle before your shovel — dig power is the real early bottleneck.
- Selling a rare find you should have kept for your museum.
- Walking the map without a detector equipped, missing buried spots entirely.
- Spending all your Gold and leaving nothing in reserve for the next shovel tier.
- Burning SECRET10 or quest luck while you shop or clean. The timers run in real time.
- Selling a Genesis or Primordial find that the Forgemaster needs for a recipe.
- Rushing to the Halloween Event island. It needs level 25, and new players earn more on their current island first.
